“Practice meditation, you will find that you are carrying within your heart a portable paradise.”

Why I Built This Space

I was practicing “yoga” for four years before I took a real Yoga class.

The classes I was exposed to in my early journey were goal-oriented, physically-focused, and lacked any spiritual depth. It wasn’t until I travelled across the country, off-grid, to an ashram that I found the practice my soul was yearning for.

After years of living at the ashram, travelling in India, and deepening my practice, I returned to the city, this time as both student and teacher. I wanted to bring the integrity and devotion I found at the ashram into an accessible online space to meet students and fellow practitioners in their daily lives.

This is that space.

I’ve also been engaging in the arts as a spiritual practice since 2018 and incorporate this lens into Patreon teachings through talks, painting stories, spiritual poetry analysis, and more.

If you are in a similar position of craving real practice that is rooted in spiritual lineage, genuine transformation, artistic expression, and compassionate guidance back to your true nature, I invite you to join me.

Here, you will find a sacred container where you can rest, expand, study, inquire, and return home to your essence — Satchitananda — Truth, Consciousness, Bliss.

  • I have struggled with feeling a sense of intimidation in other yoga classes. This is never the case with Kayla. Her classes encourage self-acceptance, nourishment, and an over-arching sense of “you are right where you are supposed to be”.

    Libby

  • Kayla’s classes are not your “run of the mill” asana classes. She brings in various supports, such as meditation & poetry to really make you feel a sense of nourishment. I have never felted judged in her class.

    Michele

  • I continue to be in awe of the depth of Kayla's study of yoga, and grateful for the sense of safety she creates in her teaching. Can't recommend this Patreon membership enough.

    Alyssa

  • She has helped me move my practice from the physical to the spiritual and emotional. I find healing in every class and always leave a little bit calmer than before.

    Marla

  • Even as a relative beginner to yoga, Kayla's acknowledgment of the lineage of yogis before inspired a felt connection to an ancient, sacred practice stretching back across time.

While these classes may be deeply healing, they are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.
