Prelude: The Divine Musicality of Nature

Prelude is a collection of paintings that explore reality as the orchestra of the Divine. The work is both an exploration and expression of the search for God in and as all things, and the intelligent pulse of life behind all form.

The exhibition is held at the Emily Carr House in Victoria — a fitting home, as Carr's own work was driven by the same thirst: to uncover and evoke God through the beauty and mystery of the world.

During the May 2nd opening event, Kayla will give an artist talk tracing the intellectual and spiritual journey behind the work — from the National Archives in Ottawa to the orchestra, Hazrat Inayat Khan (Sufi Mystic) and Emily Carr. Entry is by donation.

Location: Emily Carr House · 207 Government Street, Victoria, British Columbia.

Exhibition Dates: May 2–23, 2026.

Opening Event: Friday, May 2nd, 1–4pm Artist Talks: 2 & 3pm.

All works will be available for purchase in house. If you are interested in purchasing a work from abroad, please email hello@kaylaradhika.ca with the title of the work(s).
