Dancing in Time
Dancing in Time
18×24” (.75” profile)
Acrylic on Canvas
2024
(watermark signature for web display only)
Inspired by Rupert Spira’s quote “Awareness lives in Eternity but dances in time”, this painting serves as a reminder to drop out of the habitual past and future rumination of the mind, and to join, as Awareness, the eternal dance of Now.
The numbers on the clock, replaced with “now” are a reminder that while we move through time, each moment is always experienced as Now.
“Time does not exist. We invented it. Time is what the clock says. The distinction between the past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion. Time and space are not conditions in which we live, but modes by which we think.” - Albert Einstein
Come back into relationship with presence.
